A Sound Advice About Home Theater Speakers
True-to-life sound is one of the most important element of a satisfying home theater experience. More often, speakers that tested great in the store don’t sound as well when installed at home. This problem can be traced to speaker positioning. You must consider some factors when rigging up home theater speakers such as proper speaker distance, height and angle (also known as toe-in).
Don’t get a new set of speakers until you test your sound set-up and assess proper positioning through a trial and error method. The ideal set-up is often in the owner’s manual that come with the speakers. The best judge would be, of course, your ears.
